Watching loved ones get the care they need through well-rounded, integrative, and preventative support made me realize the imperative role naturopathic medicine plays in health care.

Naturopathic Doctor

In my early teens, it was through the experience of supporting a loved one who sought out naturopathic medicine for guidance through their cancer journey that I was first introduced to a naturopathic doctor. I was able to see the number of resources, treatment options, education, and overall empowerment that the naturopathic doctor gave when providing care in addition to conventional treatment. Throughout this journey, I came to understand the importance of naturopathic medicine and what it can bring to everyone's health.

Knowing that naturopathic medicine was the goal in mind, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition at Western University. From there, I went on to obtain my Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

My two areas of focus are helping those with thyroid conditions (hyper/hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease) and supporting individuals who have been affected by cancer, whether currently or previously. I also provide care for individuals who are experiencing digestive concerns, hormonal irregularities/changes (i.e., PMS, PCOS, painful periods, perimenopause / menopause, etc), diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog and unexplainable weight gain. I blend science with nature to provide the most appropriate, individualized treatment plan that makes sense for you.

I strongly believe that, as individuals, we must be advocates for our own health. That is why I place an emphasis on educating and empowering my patients to truly understand their symptoms, diagnoses, and overall health. Knowledge is power.

To ensure my patients receive the best possible care, I continue to pursue additional training in integrative oncology and thyroid disorders. I am a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and attend countless thyroid hormone seminars and training sessions. I am also certified by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario to prescribe natural desiccated thyroid (NDT), bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BIHRT), and vitamin injections (mistletoe therapy, vitamin D, and B12). I have undergone additional training and certification to obtain my intravenous infusion therapy license, allowing me to administer IV vitamin therapy to my patients.
